DPS Advanced Training
A Designated Premises Supervisor is a person who holds a personal licence and is named on the premises licence as the person designated to supervise the premises. Our DPS advanced training course enhances the knowledge and confidence of the personal licence holder, providing the trainee with the skills to operate as a Designated Premises Supervisor.
Instructor led training:
A single day, instructor led DPS advanced training course. Courses take place at locations throughout the UK. Laptops and stationary are provided for use during the course.
Course Content:
Our DPS advanced training course is designed to deliver:
• Full knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities the Designated Premises Supervisor.
• Full knowledge and understanding of the legal basis of these responsibilities, stipulated in the Licensing Act 2003.
• Innovative management strategies that facilitate the fulfilment of these responsibilities, including the promotion of the four licensing objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, prevention of public nuisance, and protection of children from harm.
