The demands of UK alcohol law on you
Under UK alcohol laws, two forms of alcohol licence are required within a business selling or supplying alcoholic beverages.
The personal licence, awarded to the individual following their completion of a qualification known as the Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH), formerly the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH). A personal licence holder is legally required to implement or approve every sale of alcoholic beverages within a given premises.
The premises licence, relating to the suitability of the premises in question to comply with licence objectives.
